A Bit About John

John has been. PGA of Canada member since 2004 and earned his Class ‘A’ Teaching Professional designation in 2011.  He discovered his passion for teaching and coaching in 2010 and has devoted his career to developing golfers ever since. 

Over the years, John has been the coach of Alberta Golf provincial junior teams and led squads that competed nationally and internationally, alongside mentoring a stable of high-performing junior players. He is one of only 25 Coach of Developing Competitors (CDC) certified instructors in Canada and is also trained as a Coach of New Competitors (CNC). With 15 years of teaching and coaching experience, John combines evidence-based coaching methods with practical experience to help golfers progress. 

John’s genuine love for the game and commitment to measurable improvement create engaging lessons and strong coach-student relationships.  He enjoys working with golfers of all ages and abilities, focusing on immediate gains and long-term development.
